Each new Administration nomination/appointment becomes so much more patently absurd, I wouldn't be surpised if Bush's first Supreme Court nomination were Kenneth Lay. It's as if Bush (metonymy for the machine) thinks an undertaker is the ideal job background for the post of Surgeon General.
